New Coach, No Problem For Snyder

The Snyder Lady Tigers are making a habit out of appearing in the regional finals.

The Lady Tigers have owned this region in the last two year, and they are looking for their third straight trip to the state tournament.

They are being led by first-year head coach Elizabeth Kimbell this season, but the level of play and the expectations are the same.

Megan Leatherwood said, "It's been fine. We all get along pretty well. We listen to coach and get the job done. We all know what to expect, and we all know how hard we have to work to get back to that point, so we lead the younger ones and take them under our wing, and show them the ropes to get back to Austin."

Elizabeth Kimbell said, "We want the best for each other, as far as players want to do there job on the field, and I want the best out of the players on the field, as well."

The Lady Tigers are coming south to Hawley to take on Brownwood for a berth in the state tournament.

Game one is Thursday night at 7 p.m.

Game two of the series is Saturday at 1 p.m.
