Down in class 2A the Stamford Bulldogs were trying to join Albany in the regional finals.
This was a 10-0 game in the top of the first.
Tyreek Hudson was on the mound for Claredon when Cormac Cook hit a liner past first, and Zai Zai Smith and Devin Moncada come in to take the lead to 5-0.
Hudson had some control issues and walked JD Davis to bring in a run for Stamford.
Nate Bright was on the mound later when Ligon West slapped one to right field bringing home Davis and Zachary Duran.
Stamford took down Clarendon 13-1 to sweep the series.
They'll play Albany next week in the regional finals.
