    Stamford Takes Down Clarendon 13-1

Down in class 2A the Stamford Bulldogs were trying to join Albany in the regional finals.

This was a 10-0 game in the top of the first.

Tyreek Hudson was on the mound for Claredon when Cormac Cook hit a liner past first, and Zai Zai Smith and Devin Moncada come in to take the lead to 5-0.

Hudson had some control issues and walked JD Davis to bring in a run for Stamford.

Nate Bright was on the mound later when Ligon West slapped one to right field bringing home Davis and Zachary Duran.

Stamford took down Clarendon 13-1 to sweep the series.

They'll play Albany next week in the regional finals.
