The Cisco Wranglers opened up play today at the NJCAA World Series against Darton State.
Cisco was bringing the second best batting average in the country to the tournament.
They were already up 3-0 in the top of the third when a homer made it 6-0.
Ryan Nelson slams the first home run of the tournament.
It was a three run blast over the mini monster in left, and the Wranglers were up big.
Darton wasn't going anywhere though. In the bottom frame, with the bases loaded, Denzell Gowdy ripped a 2-RBI single past the short stop to put the Cavs on the board.
The Wranglers weren't having that. They doubled the lead an inning later to make it 8-4.
Cisco continued to roll in this one as they take it 13-11.
The tournament will continue on Monday.
