Lady Wolves Advance to State for First Time Ever

Clyde and Colorado City played game two of their series at ACU after Clyde won the first game 17-4.

In the fourth inning, the Lady Wolves were up by three, but Clyde cut into the lead when Kenedee Reeves ripped the ball to center that got down and scored Belle Gomez making it a 3-1 game.

Colorado City would not be denied in this one. Chloe Castillo dribbled one back to the pitcher. On the fielder's choice a run scored making it 4-1.

Later in the inning, the runs continued when Brittany Munoz hit a bloop single to center, and Baylie Lindsey scored. The Lady Wolves led 5-1.

The score would stay there as the Lady Wolves take it 5-1 to force the deciding game three.

In that game both teams scored a run in the fourth, but that was it until the ninth when Colorado City was able to push one across to take the game 2-1.

The Lady Wolves are headed to state for the first time ever.
