    Bulldogs Play with Resiliency

The Stamford Bulldogs are state tournament bound, but it hasn't been an easy road.

Stamford's win on Thursday over Albany was a hard fought battle, but the Bulldogs never gave up.

Head coach Jeremy West says that kind of fight is what they need in the post season.

Good teams don't point fingers when something goes wrong. Instead they figure out why it went wrong and how to move past it.

"I think it just speaks volumes about our, through the years and playoff runs and a lot of different sports and our guys again, they just, they don't panic. They don't start pointing fingers," West said. "They don't get down on themselves or each other, and they just find a way to stay in it until we can find a way to win it."

"I mean all year we preached on never giving up and just grinding out every at bat, and we really did that," Ligon West said. "Albany did a great job of clawing their way back and eventually took the lead, and we just, all we had to do was get runners on, do little things right, and just a couple of base hits here and there and what do you know, we win the game."

We'll find out Sunday who and when the Bulldogs will be playing in Round Rock.
