The Wylie Bulldogs claimed their first ever state title Thursday evening with their 3-2 win over Salado.
The Bulldogs scored one run in the first, second and third innings.
Mac Mueller, Wylie's pitcher, was able to keep a no-hitter until the sixth inning when Salado scored two runs to make the game close.
However, Wylie held on to their lead and took the game 3-2.
