Wylie Little League Pitches No-Hitter to Take Down Dixie

Brooks Gay was one batter away from a perfect game in Wylie Little League's 6-0 victory over Dixie Little League.

In the bottom of the first inning, Gay walked the leadoff batter, but after that he was dominant sitting down 21 straight batters.

The first run of the game came courtesy of a line drive homerun over the left field wall from Jaxon Rutledge.

Gay was the very next batter, and he slammed a homerun off of the wall in center.

After the homers, Wylie kept on rolling. They scored four more runs in the fifth inning, and that is where the score would hold.

Gay finished off the no-hitter to end Dixie Little League's season.

Wylie will take on Snyder Little League Friday at 8 p.m.
