Thursday was the start of the 7-on-7 State Tournament in College Station for Wylie, Sweetwater, Brownwood, Snyder and Albany.
Each team played three games in pool play with the best two records in each pool advancing to the championship bracket Friday morning.
The other two teams in each pool will play in the consolation bracket on Friday.
Only a pair of Big Country schools are in the championship bracket.
Sweetwater won it's pool with a 2-1 record to advance.
Wylie came in second with a 2-1 record to move on.
The championship bracket play starts Friday at 9 a.m.
The rest will play for the consolation championship.
Brownwood finished pool play with a 1-2 record. Albany and Snyder are still looking for their first wins. Consolation play starts at 8 a.m.
