The Little League State Tournament is underway over at Wylie Little League this week.
The Wylie Intermediate All-Stars played in the first round Thursday against the Pecos All-Stars.
Wylie had a big second inning that started off as Colby Tanner knocked a grounder to short.
Wylie was safe at third and one run came home, so Wylie led it 1-0.
Later in the frame Deven Owen launched one all the way to the center field fence, and another run came home as Wylie led 3-0.
Still in the second, Wylie kept pouring it on.
Trey Dutton lifted a blooper into right field, it got by the fielder and another run scored and that was a double for Dutton.
Wylie is moving on to the winner's brackets after beating Pecos 11-6.
They play again Friday at 5 p.m. against Corpus Christi Oil Belt.
