Former Stamford football player and current Oklahoma State Cowboy James Washington talked to the media during Big XII media days.
Washington really made his presence on the field known last season against Texas Tech, and he's hasn't looked back.
At media days Washington said that during his time at Stamford he didn't really know how good he was, even though his coaches pushed him and told him what a great player he is.
"I would say I really didn't, you know, growing up with the coaches I had at Stamford, they always pushed me, but I always saw room to be better," Washington said. "They always told me "you don't know how good you are," and after working hard and doing what the coaches tell me to do, I kind of feel like I'm beginning to see it."
The junior had a standout 2015 season with 200 receiving yards against Texas Tech and made second team all Big XII.
