    BCH Sports Top Matchups: 10-12

Sweetwater, Snyder, Hawley, Eastland and Cisco are featured in the 10-12 BCH Sports Top Matchups of the 2016 high school football season.

No countdown of the Top Match Ups would be complete without the Sweetwater/Snyder game.

This contest is one of the oldest and most fierce rivalries in the Big Country.

The Mustangs are picked to win their district championship and are ranked 6th in Class 4A Division II. Snyder begins the Cory Mandrell era this year.

The Snyder alum inherits a team that is picked to return to the playoffs for the second year in a row. This year, Sweetwater enters the game riding a two game winning streak over the Tigers.

Another rivalry game is game number 11 in the BCH Sports Top Match Ups. The Eastland County War takes center stage in the final week of the 2016 season.

Cisco is picked to win District 4-3A Division II, and Eastland is expected to finish third. This is a rivalry that hotly contested every year, and since it's the final game of the season, both teams will be looking to enter the playoffs on a high note. The rivalry took a hiatus early in the decade, but Cisco claimed the victories in 2014 and '15.

Game number 10 features the Hawley Bearcats and the Post Antelopes.

These two teams are picked to finish one and two in District 4-2A Division I by Texas Football Magazine with post as the projected district champion and Hawley the runner-up. Hawley is coming off its best season ever and junior Quay Stokes is back at starting quarterback for the third season in a row.

The Bearcats and head coach Mitch Ables are loaded with returning starters and are hoping help secure a district title with a victory in Week 9 over the Antelopes.
