The ACU Wildcats started practice Monday, and there was all kinds of energy.
The Wildcats are entering the fourth and final year of their transition into Division I. It's an important year, and they were ready to go.
Head Coach Ken Collums said after the practice that he was happy with the way the first day went and the energy the guys brought to the field, and one thing he was particularly happy about was seeing the rookies in action for the first time.
Collums said it's fun to see them in action trying to get acclimated to the new system.
