Week 1 of the Harris Ratings Weekly came out Monday, and there are Big Country schools all over the rankings.

The Cooper Cougars start 2016 at no. 20 in Class 5A.
Over in Class 4A Division I, the Wylie Bulldogs start the season at 7th and Brownwood comes in at 13th. In Division II, Sweetwater is ranked 7th.
The Breckenridge Buckaroos are the only area school in the Class 3A Division I Harris Ratings this week, and they are sitting at no. 16.
A trio of schools are in the Class 3A Division II rankings. Cisco leads the charge at no. 5, district rival Coleman is next at no. 11, and another member of the district, Eastland rounds out the Big Country top 25 at no. 18.
Class 2A Division I and Division II are the most crowded with four in the top 25 in each division. Goldthwaite is ranked eleventh, Stamford and Hawley are 17th and 18th and Anson sits at no. 25 in Division I.
In Division II, back-to-back state finalist Albany is no. 3, Haskell is 18, Munday is 20th, and Hamlin enters the season at no. 22.
