Breckenridge Has Strong Defense in 2016

Breckenridge returns seniors this year especially on defense, which is a good thing because the Buckaroos are predicted to have a strong defense. Now, another thing that's going to be a strength with all the seniors is the unity and leadership that they bring to the team.

Brady Tennison said, "A lot of us have been playing since 7th grade, so we know each others tendencies. We just enjoy playing with each other, so hopefully that will show on the field."

Maximiliano Palacios said, "Coach Hubble has me, like, watching over everybody and making sure they're not playing around or goofing around and trying to get them motivated for the game. Me and most of the seniors do all the same thing. On and off the field we're like very good friends."

Casey Hubble said, "We've got a good group of seniors back that have a lot of experience. There's not a lot of them, but the ones that are coming back, have, there's five kids that have been three year starters, and one of those guys is a four year starter, so a good group with a lot of understanding with what we're trying to do. They get along with each other well, and they're excited and ready to go."

The Buckaroos open their season in a little bit of a tougher atmosphere at Cisco on Friday.
