    Clyde Beats Brownfield In Season Opener


    The Clyde Bulldogs took on Brownfield Cubs at the Mustang Bowl in a quick scoring game.



    After a fumble recovery by the Bulldogs, Tanner Riley throws a bomb to Brandon Berry for a 52 yard touchdown pass. That brought the score 7 to nothing Clyde.



    After a Brownfield touchdown, Clyde was trying make a comeback, but Tanner Riley's throw is picked off by Jaelyn Nolan in the end zone. He returned it for a 103 yard touchdown, and Brownfield led 13-7 at the end of the first quarter.



    Both Brownfield and Clyde would score in the second quarter, and Clyde led 21 to 20 at halftime.



    It would go back and forth in the third quarter, but Bulldogs start to take it away going into the fourth quarter.



    And Clyde would end up on top, beating Brownfield 48 to 32.



    The Bulldogs travel to Eastland for their second game next Friday.
