The Cross Plains Buffaloes have high expectations this year, and they proved that on Friday at home against Menard.
The Buffaloes got right to work as quarterback Holden Senclair keeps, starts up the middle then cuts outside. He drags a couple guys with him into the end zone and the Buffaloes lead 6-0.
Later in the first, Senclair does it again. He fakes the hand off and drives right up the middle and in for another touchdown. Cross Plains lead 12-0 at the end of the first.
Cross Plains beats Menard in their home opener 39 to 26.
