Cooper Hits The Road In Week 2

The Cooper Cougars opened the season with a 16 point victory, and they showcased their play makers on offense the entire game. Five Cougars caught passes and four carried the ball against Keller. The offense looked good in the opener...how good can it be?

Jwan Hong said, "Through the roof, honestly, because we have a quarterback that's a dual threat. We've got linemen that can hold their own. Running backs that can run and also catch, and receivers with height and speed. It's incredible."

Austin Smith said, "When you have guys that know what they are doing it's really easier. Your just so relaxed knowing that, he knows what he's doing. I know what I'm doing. Linemen know what they are doing, and it just brings a lot of confidence to us. It's easy for us."

We will find out on Friday night as the Cougars take on Grapevine in the first meeting between the two schools in history.
