Cooper's game with Frenship was a tale of two halves, but the Coogs prevailed at the end taking the game 28-25.
In the first half of the game, Cooper had just one score, and they trailed 19-7 going into halftime, but they woke up in the second half.
The Cougar defense only allowed one score that came after a turnover.
As far as the offense is concerned, Cooper woke up in the second half. The first touchdown in the second half came courtesy of Devin Johnson, but the big story from the ground was Tyrees Whitfield.
After only one carry in the first half, Whitfield ended with 16 carries for 182 yards.
Cooper is now sitting at an even 2-2 on the season. They come back home next week to take on Bowie.
