The Bearcats host Mason at Forrester field, Hawley enters the game undefeated and ranked 10th in class 2A division 1 and Mason is ranked 8th this week. So it's a great match up, and the Bearcats look forward to the challenge.
"I don't think any of us are worried about it, there are teams that are ranked above us that shouldn't be, so that'll be a good match up," Cade Frazier said.
Head Coach Mitch Ables said, "We're just preparing one day at a time. I know everybody says that but we've got to worry about us. Mason's a good team, they're always ranked, and it's new territory for us so we're just trying to work on us and try to get as good as we can on Friday."
"We expect them to be big and strong and ready to compete against us, it is our homecoming and I feel like they're going to try to take that one away from us," Quay Stokes said.
The Bearcats and the Mason Punchers get together in this non-district game Friday night in Hawley, they will get started at 7:30.
