The Cooper Cougars started their final non-district game against Austin Bowie well, but they couldn't hang on in the end.
Cooper started fast with a touchdown pass to Myler Royles to get the Coogs on the board early.
CHS led the Bulldogs 14-11 going into halftime, but they wouldn't lead again for the rest of the game.
Bowie got their game together in the second half, with two touchdowns and allowing Cooper to only score once more.
The Bulldogs outscored Cooper 21-7 down the stretch to claim the victory.
Austin Bowie upsets Cooper 24-21. The Cougars will have their bye week next week, and will return to Shotwell in their first district game against Lubbock Monterey on October 7th.
