It's time to give out some game balls, and there were some big standouts in week five.
Starting with some Class 4A action. Wylie running back Brooks Pepper scored three rushing touchdowns on ten carries. He finished with 79 yards on the night in Wylie's homecoming win over Brownfield.
Next up, Sweetwater's Jordan McGee had an outstanding night to say the least. He caught nine passes for 189 yards and five touchdowns. One more stat, the Mustang offense had 637 total yards.
Dylan Brunson from Cisco gets a game ball. He rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns as the Loboes blew out Albany 27-7. The team finished with 285 yards on the ground.
Finally, Clyde sophomore Payton Burton who rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns in the fourth quarter including the game winning touchdown as the Bulldogs took down Coleman.
Congratulations to all of those guys. It was a busy week five and you guys deserve it.
