It's time for the weekly BCH Sports game ball giveaway! This week we chose four guys who stood out in week 6.
First, Abilene High's Qua'Shawn Washington who does it all. He's a wide receiver, defensive back and long snapper. Washington had a 52 yard interception return for a touchdown that put the Eagles up 31-3 in the second, and that pretty much sealed the deal for AHS in their 45-16 win over Keller Fossil Ridge.
Next up, Sweetwater's defense gets a game ball this week. The Mustang d didn't allow any first downs and kept Lamesa scoreless in the first half. They only gave up 12 points which came at the end of the game, and they consistently put their offense in good field position for their 52-12 win.
Finally, two Highland players get game balls. Richard Formby ran for a game high 165 yards and 3 td's and Eli Sauer had 116 yards and 3 td's as well. The two combined for 281 yards and 6 touchdowns and brought the hornets to their 64-18 victory over Moran.
Those are the game balls for week 6.
