It's time to give out game balls after week seven of the high school football season, we've got three this week.
And I'll start first with Cross Plains' running back Creed Goode. Goode helped lead the Buffaloes to a 40-32 comeback win over Baird on Friday. He rushed for 180 yards and four touchdowns, three of which came in the last 14 minutes of the game that propelled them to victory.
Next up we've got Hawley's quarterback Quay Stokes. Now Quay could have gotten a game ball most weeks, and this is his time. Stokes had 470 total yards with six touchdowns to cap the Bearcats' district opening win over Forsan.
Our final game ball today goes to Wylie's quarterback Zach Smith. Smith showed out in the second half against Brownwood showing his athleticism. He ended the game with 92 yards on 14 carries and one rushing touchdown. He also had 108 yards passing and another touchdown.
Those are the BCH Sports game balls at the end of week seven. We're halfway through the regular season already folks. Congratulations to these guys, tune in next Sunday to see who stood out at the end of week eight.
