    Cooper Relying More On Receivers

Head coach Todd Moebes' crew is headed to Midland to face Canutillo, and they are taking a group of receivers that continues to improve every week.

In the first round of the playoffs, five different receivers led by Myller Royals and Jwan Hong caught passes and three scored touchdowns.

All of the Cougars pass catchers can hurt you, and that fact makes the Cooper offense even more potent.

Jwan Hong said, "Honestly, we've grown a lot, and not just on the field, but outside the field, too. We've just come closer as a group."

Myller Royals said, "Honestly, we are all a weapon to any defense. I feel like any of us can get the job done when the ball's thrown to us, and so, that helps out a bunch. I feel like all of us are deadly."

Hong added, "We has a swag about us. We go out there with a chip on our shoulder and knowing what our job is and get it done."

Cooper and that receiving corps takes on undefeated Canutillo tomorrow night in Midland. They will get that game started at 7:30pm.
