The Knox City Greyhounds' season came to an end at the hands of the Happy Cowboys 62-14 Saturday afternoon.
The first quarter was all Happy. Dayton Walden found a hole early and took it into the endzone to give the Cowboys an 8-0 lead early.
Later on Colton McCarley gave the ball to Karson Bryan who took his chance to score a touchdown, and that gave Happy a 16-0.
The Greyhounds tried to get something going in the first when Anthony Estrada connected with Brady Hawkins for a long touchdown to cut the lead 16-6.
At the end of the first quarter, the Cowboys added one more score thanks to a deep pass to Dalton Gray.
Happy is moving on to the state quarterfinals next week thanks to their 62-14 win over Knox City.
