There's a new coach in town!! Abilene Christian High School has hired Jim Holloway to lead the Panthers program.
Holloway started his coaching career as an assistant at Lubbock Christian High School.
From there he moved on to coach 6 man football at Groom and most recently Miami up in the Panhandle.
Holloway is taking over a Panthers program that won 3 games in 2016 and 4 in 2015, so he's excited to turn ACHS football around.
Jim Holloway said, "This school has tradition, they've won state championships in the past in multiple sports so they've been through it, they know what it's like here. I think the main thing we need to create here is just stability for the kids. Just have a program that they know what the expectations are, they understand what it takes to just keep getting better and better "
We'll get to see Holloway in action when the Panthers kick off their season on September 2nd against Weatherford Christian.
