The FCA All-Star Festival wrapped up in Abilene with a low scoring football game on Saturday evening in Shotwell Stadium.
Both teams showed excellent defense, with only one touchdown scored in the first half by the Blue team's Holden Senclair on a muffed punt.
We saw two turnovers in the first half, with the first coming from the Cisco's Kase Gayle scrambles, but his pass is picked off by Wall's Ryan Walling on the 40 yard line.
A couple plays later, Abilene High's Peyton Killam hits Cooper's Juwan Hong near the sidelines to get the Blue Team close to the end zone.
The second turnover would come on the same drive. Killam was sacked by the Cisco's Dylan Brunson, and the fumble was recovered by Early's Griffin Ehlers.
We wouldn't see another touchdown until the fourth quarter, when Goldthwaite's Aris Shelton crossed the goal line for the Blue Team to bring them up 14-0, and that's where the score would stay.
The Offensive MVP was Peyton Killam, and the Defensive MVP was Dylan Brunson.
