Top Matchups: Eastland vs. Cisco, Clyde vs. Comanche

Any rivalry that includes a field blowing up must be on our list of top games.
The Eastland Mavericks travel to Cisco to take on the Loboes in the final week of the season and Texas Football Magazine says the 81st renewal of the Eastland County War will be for the district championship.
Cisco leads the overall series with 52 wins, and they've won nine of the last 10 meetings. Head coach Brent West returns 15 lettermen from a area finalist team in 2016, and they are favored to win district.
Eastland was a second-round playoff team last year, too, and James Morton's boys plan to end Cisco's domination of this series with their first win over the Loboes since 1993.

Clyde and Comanche meet in Week 8 is what should be the deciding game in District 3-3A Division I this year.
Comanche is the defending champion in the district, and head coach Stephen Hermesmeyer returns nine starters on the offensive side of the ball.
Clyde enters 2017 with a pretty inexperienced bunch according to Texas Football. Head coach Rocky Smart only returns 10 lettermen.
The rivalry between these two schools is even in the last four years. They each won two games, and three of the four were decided by a touchdown or less.
Comanche is picked to win the district, but Clyde is right there and ready to pounce when the two teams get together on October 27 in Comanche.
