The Dallas Cowboys continue preparation for the new season in Oxnard, and coming into training camp most of the of the talk was about the antics of Zeke Elliott off the field.
Like other Cowboys, he's a player that has the talent to make a ton of money in endorsements. Head coach Jason Garrett recognizes that, so he had the same talk he has with most of the team about what Zeke could lose.
"We talk to all of our players about being their best and maximizing their opportunities and understanding the opportunity that we have here with the Cowboys and waking up everyday and striving to be your best in everything that you do, and hopefully you continue to create good opportunities for yourself, both on and off the football field, so that was the essence of the conversation with him, and I've had that conversation with a number of other players on our team," Garrett said.
Zeke seems to be behaving himself since training camp started.
Dallas starts the preseason on Thursday in Canton, Ohio against the Cardinals.
