After a very exciting first week of high school football, it's about time to give out our BCH Sports Game Balls!! These guys stood out to us on the field in the first week of play.
First up is Cooper's Tyrees Whitfield. The senior running back ran for 178 yards and four touchdowns on 22 carries, including two fourth quarter TDs to solidify Cooper's 48 to 35 win over Keller on Friday night.
Next up is Wylie's Gatlin Martin! Gatlin was one of our BCH Sports Players to Watch, and he showed out on Friday with an interception in the end zone, three passes for 119 yards, and two touchdowns in Wylie's 45 to 6 blowout over Vernon.
Eastland's Zach Brown gets a game ball. The QB threw for 262 yards and a 65 yard touchdown pass to put the Mavericks ahead of Merkel in Eastland's 22 point victory on Thursday.
And finally, Cisco's running back Dathan Harding gets a game ball. He ran for 131 yards on 17 carries with two touchdowns in the Loboes 20 to 6 win over Breckenridge.
