Eagles playing on both sides of the ball

The Abilene High Eagles are set to play the second game of the Champions Classic.
The Eagles are returning just 16 lettermen and numbers are down a little.
That means more players are going to have to play offense and defense.
Physically, it's a burden on the players, but they say they can handle the work load.
Wes Berry said, "It's going to be tough but we're going to have to do it. They need us both ways so we've been working all week conditioning, working, eating right, drinking right, so I think we'll be ready. It'll be fun."
Doak Holloway said, "It's just fun. It's fun to be able to play on the other side of the ball and finally be able to score some touchdowns and stuff and not just be playing defense. It's a huge honor just to be playing both sides of the ball."
Raekwon Millsap said, "We know it's going to be hard because we're going to have to be in good shape and our bodies are going to have to be good. But other than that it's really exciting being able to help our team on both sides of the ball and being able to help any way we can. We're ready for the challenge and we're excited."
Abilene High faces off with San Angelo Central at Shotwell on Friday night.
