Head coach Del Van Cox and his Eagles are looking to bounce back from their second loss of the season this week.
It shouldn't be a problem getting the Eagles ready to go since it's Crosstown Showdown week.
The Cooper Cougars are waiting for the Eagles at the end of the week, and coach Cox expects his guys to be ready to go.
Del Van Cox said, "You've got to make sure that you are focused on what you need to accomplish and don't get caught up in all of the dressing up and the constant talking from parents and friends. Everywhere you go that's what is talked about. You've got to make sure you focus on the game plan and preparation."
This is the week a lot of high school fans in Abilene look forward to every year. It's the Crosstown Showdown.
