It's time to give out our BCH Sports Game Balls for the third week of the high school football season.
First up we have Cooper's Tyrees Whitfield! Tyrees got a Game Ball in the first week, but we had to give him another one thanks to his record breaking performance against Abilene High. He ran for 332 yards and scored a new Cooper record 7 touchdowns! Tyrees scored every single Cougar TD in Cooper's 49-35 rout of the Eagles in the Crosstown Showdown.
Next up, Sweetwater's Chris Thompson gets his first Game Ball of 2017! The Mustangs QB threw for 387 yards and had a hand in all 7 of Sweetwater's touchdowns. Chris helped lead the Mustangs to their 55 to 21 win over San Angelo Lake View for their third straight victory.
Jim Ned's Coalby Rives gets a Game Ball this week! The quarterback had 246 yards passing and 81 yards rushing and a topped it off with the first touchdown of the game. Coalby and the Indians are now 3-0 after beating Anson 55-16 on Friday.
Our final Game Ball this week goes to another quarterback! Clyde's Jax Roam threw for 286 yards with 4 passing and 1 rushing touchdown in the Bulldogs 66 to 21 win over Ballinger. Congrats to all these guys, and stay tuned every Sunday for our weekly give away!
