The Eagles did go down the field early in the game, but ended the drive with just a field goal. Their only points of the game.
Abilene High tried to get something going before the half, but Andrew Ezzell's pass is picked off, and then the Panthers scored once more to lead 21-3 going into the half.
It stayed 21-3 going into the fourth quarter, so the Eagle defense had a strong performance, but the offense couldn't get it done Friday night. The Panthers take home the win 28-3.
