It's Sunday, so it's time to take a look back at some guys who impressed us on the field for our weekly BCH Sports Game Ball giveaway. Tonight we're doing it a little different though, and we've got a couple of college guys in the mix.
We start with Sweetwater's Daniel Avila. The Mustangs' running back had 22 carries for 248 yards and 3 touchdowns on Friday night. He helped lead Sweetwater to their fifth straight win in a 63-30 victory over Pecos.
Up next, we have Albany's Brian Hamilton getting his second Game Ball of the season. This week, Brian threw for 167 yards, he ran for 95, and he had 4 passing and 1 rushing touchdown AND a pick 6 in Albany's 39-13 win over Cisco.
Let's move on up to college now! ACU's Dallas Sealey gets the first college Game Ball this year. Dallas had 306 yards passing with 3 rushing and 1 passing TD on Saturday night. He helped lead the Wildcats to a 45-20 win over Incarnate Word, in their first road win since 2014!
And last but certainly not least, Hardin Simmons' Jaquan Hemphill gets a much deserved Game Ball! The Coleman alum broke or tied 11! HSU, ASC, or NCAA records with 293 yards rushing in Hardin Simmons' 80-42 win over ETBU.
So a huge congratulations to this week's Game Ball winners, and keep showing out on the field!
