The ACU Wildcats are back at work this week after last week's open date. Head coach Adam Dorrel's team is struggling with a three-game losing streak and they've won just two games this season.
Coach Dorrel says most of the team had a good week without a game, but there is a portion that is bringing the team down.
Adam Dorrel said, "Well I was happy for the most part. I would say with 90% of the roster, I mean how they were doing things. There's a group of guys that I don't think are doing the things that we need to get done, so we've addressed that, but yes for the majority of the guys yeah. What I keep trying to get everybody to understand, you know if we have 100 guys on the team and one guy's not doing it the right way, that's going to hurt all of us, and we're not there yet as a program. I've challenged our guys, man we've got to start taking care of more of that stuff in the locker room in a positive way. You need to get to it before we get to it as coaches."
The Wildcats hit the road this week to Louisiana.
They play Northwestern State, who comes into the game with a 2-6 record.
