Efficient! That's the best way to describe the Cooper offense on Thursday night against Lubbock.
Here are a couple of examples: Ender Freeman completed 5 passes for 220 yards.
Tyrees Whitfield carried the ball eight times for 108 yards and four touchdowns.
That's efficient, and head coach Todd Moebes liked what he saw.
Coach Moebes said, "I think we've got some guys that we can the football in their hands, and they can make plays in space, and they did the other night. You never expect to be that explosive all the time, but we've got some explosive guys, and it certainly showed the other night."
The Cougars are back on the road again this week.
They take on Lake View in San Angelo on Friday night.
