    Wylie's offense is very balanced

The Wylie Bulldogs are coming off their open date and are getting ready for their district championship game with Stephenville.
Head coach Hugh Sandifer and his team are in position for the district title thanks in large part to their balanced offense.
Most coaches talk about being balanced, but the Bulldogs are living it. Wylie's total yards rushing and passing are within twenty yards or each other, and they believe that's one of the reasons they are successful.
Hugh Sandifer said, "I mean it's something we strive to do. You know we've had some big plays throwing the football, so I think the yardage is close, but we try to be very multiple. It's just a great compliment to our team for being able to run multiple offenses."
Connor Carlton said, "I mean to be able to do two things at any given point during the game is big because teams don't know how to defend it. They don't know whether if it's third and short whether we're going to pass it or run it."
Wylie takes that balanced offense to Stephenville on Friday night.
The winner claims the District 3-4A Division I championship.
