2017 Week 10 BCH Sports Game Balls

We only have one week left in the regular high school football season which is unbelievable, and that means it's crunch time.
Teams are clinching playoff berths and working toward district championships, and all of that means we have some guys stepping up even more.
It's time to give away some well earned BCH Sports Game Balls.
First off we have to start with the Cooper Cougars. Why? Because they beat San Angelo Lake View 70-19, and wide receiver Myller Royals was of course a part of that. We know Myller can catch, and this week he had 7 receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown, but he also returned a punt for a touchdown! And because teams have to cover Myller so much a lot of other Cooper receivers had some big time plays Friday as well.
Next we go to Tuscola. Jim Ned's Cooper Castro had a very nice game against Clyde with three rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown. Castro had four catches for 62 yards and helped push the Indians to a close 46-43 win over the Bulldogs. With the win, the Indians clinch their playoff berth.
Finally, and this was a big game, Stamford and Hawley. It was a battle for sure, but Stamford quarterback Peyton Bevel gets a game ball for helping his team to another close win, 35-32 over the Bearcats. Bevel had three passing touchdowns, was 18 for 24 with 244 yards.
Congratulations to these three athletes and these three teams on very good wins and performances. Keep it up, there's only one week before playoffs start!
