Cooper was dominant again San Angelo Lake View on Friday night. The Cougars showed their dominance in the first quarter and never looked back.
Head coach Todd Moebes' team entered the night knowing they were better than the Chiefs, and made sure they played up to their ability and not down to Lake View's.
Todd Moebes said, "These guys, anybody playing football, they've been in off-season. They've worked their tail off since January. You do all of the reps for just a 10-game season. These games mean a lot. They owe it to themselves to go out and play well. We are real proud of how they performed."
The Cougars are at home on Thursday to take on undefeated Lubbock Coronado.
Cooper can claim a share of the district crown on Thursday night with a win.
