The Wylie Bulldogs had a tough night against Stephenville in the district 3-4A championship game.
The Yellow Jackets scored twice early in the game to take a 14-0 lead before the Bulldogs got anything going.
Sam King connected with Lane Ross for Wylie's first touchdown of the game, but then the Jackets answered right back.
The Bulldogs got another touchdown in the third quarter, King to Cason Grant made it 21-14, but they still weren't able to get it done.
Wylie falls 33-20, and it is their first time not winning a district title since 2011.
