The Hamlin Pied Pipers used a strong first half to beat the Wheeler Mustangs for the Area Championship, 47-27
Defensively, the Pipers held Wheeler to just six points.
Meanwhile, they moved the ball up and down the field on the Mustangs defense in the first half. Hamlin scored touchdowns on four of five possessions to take control.
The biggest lead came at 34-6 early in the third quarter, and that's when Wheeler started to put some points on the board.
Hamlin wins it, and they will play the winner of the Bovina/Clarendon game next week.
