The Cooper Cougar girls lost to Lamesa at home Tuesday night 45-32.
Cooper was able to find the lead for a little while, but at the end of the half they trailed.
The ladies lost more ground in the third period before eventually falling in the end.
On Friday the Coogs travel out to Lubbock for a matchup with Monterey, their first district game of the season. That game is at 6p.m.
