Lady Bulldogs look ahead to playoffs

The Wylie Lady Bulldogs returned to the top of the district all by themselves this year as they rolled to the district title with double-digit victories in all of their games.
The Lady Bulldogs head into the class 4A playoffs after winning their district game by 21 points per game.
Coach Kurt Richardson says the combination of non-district and district games have his team ready for the postseason next week.
Kurt Richardson said, "The nondistrict games are great, they get us ready for this, but we want to be at our best in district to get that gold ball for that district title, and then to get ready for playoffs, where hopefully we can get some more so, once we start district, there's always a renewed sense of focus on little thing. They know the biggest stuff that we're running so there's a little better focus on the little things that will help improve our team that much more."
The 11th ranked Wylie Lady Bulldogs start the class 4A playoffs on Monday night. They meet Iowa Park in Brock at 6:30.
