    Hamlin prepared for top-ranked Wellington

The Hamlin Pied Pipers enter the third round of the postseason as the sixth ranked team in Class 2A Division II and they have just one loss.
They get their biggest test of the season this week.
Head coach Russell Lucas' team takes on top ranked Wellington.
    The Rockets are undefeated.
They win their games by an average of 51-7.
It's a challenge, but it's a challenge the Pied Pipers are excited to accept.
Braydin Warner said, "Last time we played them, it wasn't too great. It was a blowout win, and just to kind of redeem ourselves, they have a lot of players, we're kind of seen as David vs. Goliath right now. It would feel great to win this one and prove that we really are one of the best teams in the state."
Coach Russell Lucas said, "Well, everybody's kind of known from the beginning of the year that in our region and this part of Texas, all roads go through Wellington. They've known they've had that kind of team, we've known that all year long. We've been anticipating this that we would match up with them at some point. It's exciting to be able to have that challenge. I mean, what do we have to lose?"
The Pied Pipers and the Sky Rockets meet in Iowa Park for their third round game.
The Pipers are trying to get to their 4th round for the first time since 1994.
