St. Andrew’s uses a promotion to hire its next football coach

St. Andrew’s announced on Thursday that Taylor Stewart will be the high school’s next football coach. This will be the first head-coaching job for Stewart, who had been the Crusaders’ defensive coordinator for the past six seasons. Stewart also worked with the St. Stephen’s defense before he joined the St. Andrew’s coaching staff.


Stewart replaces Ty Detmer, who left St. Andrew’s in December to become the offensive coordinator at BYU. ...
