Texans kicker Randy Bullock has been released.
The Texans signed kicker Nick Novak as his replacement. Novak most recently played for the San Diego Chargers from 2011 to 2014.
In his third season, Bullock missed two out of five extra point attempts including one in the Texans' win Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The NFL moved extra point attempts to the 15-yard-line for the 2015 season and moved 2-point conversions to the 2-yard line.
Bullock was a fifth-round draft pick from 2012 who played in college at Texas A&M. Bullock is from the Houston area and attended Klein High school.
