Homecoming is just around the corner at several high schools, and one teen in Kingwood enlisted the help of a sports celebrity for a special homecoming proposal.
The Houston Rockets mascot, Clutch, accompanied Zachary Bootz when he surprised his girlfriend at the boutique where she works to ask her to homecoming. And she said yes.
"I feel pretty good. She said yes!" he said.
He is a senior at Summer Creek High School and his girlfriend Maddie goes to Atascocita High School.
