UH's first-year football coach Tom Herman is a semi-finalist for the George Munger Coach of the Year Award.
In his first year with the Cougars, Herman has led UH to a 10-0 record, a No. 13 AP ranking and No. 18 College Football Playoff ranking.
Herman won a national championship in 2014 as Ohio State's offensive coordinator.
