Funeral services are being held Thursday for legendary University of Houston coach Guy V. Lewis, who died last week at the age of 93.
Lewis led the Coog's basketball team for 30 years, guiding them to the NCAA title games in 1983 and 1984.
Public services are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church on Main Street.

A reception will be held at 1 p.m. at the John O'Quinn Great Hall at the UH Athletics/Alumni Center.
Family members are asking attendees to wear Cougars red.
A public viewing was held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the UH Chapel at 3841 Cullen Blvd.
After the viewing, fans paid tribute to Lewis during halftime of the UH men's basketball game against Murray State.
